Tungsten (Molybdenum) copper alloys produced by sintering and infiltration methods have good conductivity, good machining property, high tensile strength in elevated temperature, high fracture toughness, high ablation resistance and low thermal expansion coefficient. WCu, MoCu alloys are widely used in astronautic, aeronautic, electric and electronic, EDM machine, metallurgy industry. AT&M can provide two phases or three phases tungsten (molybdenum) copper alloys which the copper content varied from 5% to 95%. AT&M can produce various big size WCu or MoCu parts by CIP, various small parts by mold pressing, extruding or MIM, various thickness plates by rolling.

 

Material Introduction
Molybdenum-copper alloy is a kind of pseudo-alloy that is composed of two metals which are not mutually solid-solution. It consists of both the characteristics of molybdenum and copper, having high thermal conductivity, low adjusted thermal expansion coefficient, being non-magnetic, low content of gas, good vacuum resistance, good machinability and special high-temperature performance and so on.

Areas of Application
Molybdenum-copper alloy has a wide range of applications, mainly including: vacuum contacts, conductive cooling components, instrumentation components, rockets with lower using temperatures, high-temperature parts of missiles and the components of other weapons, such as extended-range artillery, etc.; the strengthening rib for solid seal, sliding friction, water-cooled electrode tip for temperature furnace, and the electrodes for electro machining.
